Without electricity for a few hours

I have had a busy day. The electricity went off around 3:30 in the afternoon during a thunderstorm. Eventually when it was not coming back soon, I went to a Starbucks, came home and found still no electricity, and so traveled into the office to do some work there. I'm home now and the electricity is working. I saw that a new member had posted messages about a webcam, and so I banned that member. Continue

Snow, snow, and more snow

We've been getting a lot of snow the past couple of days, and there is more to come. The snow is weighing down the tree branches. Last night a very large branch broke off the hemlock tree and fell into the driveway. I dragged it into the back yard, with the plan to cut it up later when the weather is better. Just now an even larger branch fell off. I'm going to have to cut it into at least two pieces before I move it, because it is too large and awkward to move it as it is. Continue
